RoamttyTerms of Use
These terms cover Roamtty for Android and iOS (together, “the app”) and the website roamtty.com. By using the app you agree to these terms.
1. Purchase and license
Roamtty is a paid app you buy once, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions, at the price shown in the store. The Android and iOS apps are sold separately on Google Play and the App Store and are purchased separately. Purchases, payments and refunds are handled by the stores under the Google Play refund policy or Apple's refund process (reportaproblem.apple.com).
Your purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app personally on devices you own or control, under the usage rules of the store you bought it from. The iOS app obtained from the App Store is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA); the Android app obtained from Google Play is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Third-party components included in the app are licensed under their own licenses, listed on the Third-party licenses page under Help in the app.
2. Your responsibilities
- Connect only to servers you own or are authorized to access, and follow applicable laws and the rules of the server's owner.
- You are responsible for the commands you run, the files you transfer through the app and their consequences, including actions by AI tools you start on your servers. Permission modes that skip confirmations, such as YOLO, let an AI tool change files or run commands without asking; use them only where you can accept the consequences.
- Keep your device, passwords and private keys safe, and check the host fingerprint on first connection.
- Third-party AI tools and services you use on your servers are governed by their own terms.
3. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the app, including data loss, service interruption or unintended actions on your servers.
4. Trademarks
The Roamtty name and icon belong to the Roamtty developers. Claude Code, Codex, Grok and other third-party names are trademarks of their respective owners, mentioned only to describe compatibility. Roamtty is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
5. Privacy
The app collects no personal data. See the privacy policy.
6. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the effective date on this page when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
